I was introduced into the mortgage industry by a good friend, in 1996. After years of working for large corporations, I knew I needed a change. Luckily, in 2005, I was introduced to Michael Leland and Mortgage Trust and the unique culture of fun, work and life balance he had built. I have never made a better, healthier career decision!
In over 17 years of industry experience I have worked in every aspect of the loan process, including originating, processing, underwriting, funding/closing and selling loans on the secondary market for several respected mortgage companies. This unique level of expertise enables me to make accurate and prompt recommendations for my borrowers, either in the managing closing/funding capacity or as an originator for my clients.
Outside of the office, I enjoy exercising, cooking, classic cocktails, reading, listening to music and spending time outdoors in the sun with my husband, son, and two dogs.
Our Friday happy hours and employee events. Where else can you do karaoke with your boss on a Thursday night?
I am a native Portlander, born and raised! (My husband is, too. How rare is that?!) I have visited other places, but at the end of the day, Portland is the best. It has great people (who recycle!), beer/cocktails, food, neighborhoods, schools and green spaces along with lots of other cool stuff. We have owned our home in inner SE for over a decade now and lived in the neighborhood for 18 years. Over that time, we’ve watched the neighborhood grow and become a close-knit area where you can walk to get anything you need. (We rarely drive on the weekends!) Now, if we just had sunshine for more than 4 months a year…
Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon. They make wishes come true for sick children, and 92% of all donations go back into the program. Amazing organization!
Unique, old timey, complicated, pre-prohibition-style cocktails. There is nothing like a cold Trolley Car.
Always ask! The worst thing they can do is say no. (I learned this from my Grandma Gallucci.)
Wonder Woman, for the cool outfit and bracelets alone. I’m pretty sure I had those Underoos as a kid.
