I'm passionate about my job as a Loan Officer. Assisting my clients in successfully navigating the mortgage process to achieve their goals is a responsibility I love. Education plays a key role in this effort. Because each client comes to me with a unique set of circumstances, I work to tailor my approach to each one individually.
I view my client relationships over the long term. As such, I strive to communicate promptly with objective advice and clear counsel throughout the loan process, whether it takes a few weeks or a few months for a client to accomplish their goals.
I entered the mortgage business 11 years ago after a career in music, performing and teaching as a professional trumpeter.
You might find me running on one of the myriad trails the Portland area has to offer. I love to recharge by getting out into the natural world. You might also find me cooking or baking a few vegan recipes at once in my chemistry lab of a kitchen.
Until last year, I lived most of my life in Salt Lake City, Utah. I chose to relocate to Portland to explore a new avenue of life and culture and to live in closer proximity to my daughter, Jilian, who teaches 4th and 5th graders in Seattle.
In 2013, I took 1st place overall in the Triple Trail Challenge in Park City, Utah - a series of three races including the 16-mile Jupiter Steeplechase, the Park City Half Marathon, and the Mid-Mountain Marathon.
This spring, my daughter and I will travel to Scotland for a week. We're intrigued by the opportunity to revel in the cultural ambiance and natural beauty, to visit a few castles, and to sip a wee dram at some distilleries, all in the country of our ancestors.
