I started in the mortgage business straight out of college in the early 90s because I wanted to buy a house and I didn't know how to go about it. One year later I was a homeowner. One year after that, I became one of the youngest underwriters at Bank of America. And I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it!
Portland is so full of great restaurants, incredible outdoor recreation and fantastic weather if you're a duck (which I am), but my favorite place to be is my SW Portland home with my husband enjoying happy hour with friends and neighbors on the lawn. There's nothing better!

I love the focus on balance at Mortgage Trust. We are here to provide the best customer experience we can for our clients, but our company also knows that happy employees who feel empowered and supported are needed to make that happen. Mortgage Trust employees take ownership of every client so that no matter how the client came to us, we all strive to make the customer's experience a good one.
I moved to Portland in 2000 as a transplant from Salem, and I couldn't be happier! I love the "vibe" of Portland. I love the gourmet food carts and chic restaurants. I'm crazy about the farmer's markets, especially downtown Portland with its blanket of trees, gorgeous vegetables and flowers and musicians of every age and genre on every corner of the park. I love that Portlanders care about the environment and recycling. I love how active people are in Portland, no matter what the weather is like. And I especially love driving out of my neighborhood to a dramatic view of a snow covered Mt. Hood on a sunny day. This is such a cool city!
It's never too late to live happily ever after.
