I enjoy working with people, and love the feeling of helping someone navigate the process towards buying their new home. It can be a complicated, stressful, and scary experience for borrowers, and if I can help my customers enjoy the ride while achieving their homeownership goals, it's extremely rewarding for me.
I've been in the mortgage business for over 7 years, but Mortgage Trust is the first company where I felt like I"d found a long-term home for my career. I value working for a local company that places a premium on integrity, balance, and giving back.
When I'm not at work, i'm with my family. I love spending time with my wife and 2-year old son. These days that means time at the park, or sneaking a workout in when time permits.
I grew up in Springfield, OR and made my way to Portland after I graduated from the University of Oregon. The move was an obvious one for the greater opportunities that Portland offered, while staying relatively close to friends and family.
I serve on the board of directors for a non-profit organization called Youth Progress Association based here in Portland. YPA is dedicated to providing Oregon's highest risk youth with the living skills, structure and support needed to transition successfully in the community.
